100 Day Goal Cheat Sheet!

1.Start by setting your goal

Work out WHY growing your Norwex business is important to you. You can use the “Why Wheel” for this. Write down all your “whys” first and then decide which is your most important

Decide what you are going to MEASURE. There are all sort of measures you could use for success, for example: Dollars earned by you, Dollar Sales, Number of new Customers, Achieving the target for the Maldives, Number of Recruits. The important thing is that your MEASURE aligns with your WHY.  For example if your “WHY” is about changing people’s cleaning habits to a more environmentally friendly solution, then you could pick “Number of new customers” as your MEASURE, if your “WHY” is about generating an income for you, then your MEASURE could be dollar sales, or dollars earned by you. There are no right or wrongs with the MEASURE you pick, just make sure it’s directed towards what you want to achieve. (Remember my story about the Marathon and the Wedding Dress fitting!)

Decide how BIG you want to make your goal. The MAGNITUDE of it. The steps here are:

  1. Start with a “GUESS” number. Just what you instinctively want to set your goal at
  2. Now do the Sweet Spot Quiz in your handout. This is your “Sweet Spot” Goal
  3. In the goal sheet, write your “Sweet Spot” Goal in as the “Good” goal too
  4. Add 10% to your Good Goal to get your “Great” Goal
  5. Add 20%or 25% to your Good Goal to get your “Awesome” Goal
  6. From now on aim for your Awesome Goal
  7. Pop your goal sheet away in a safe place, ready to get it out on 11 May. This bit is important – it will save you feeling any disappointment if you don’t reach your Awesome Goal. Remember, today you’d be happy with “Good”!

2.Create your Master Microaction List

This is your big list of Microactions. Microactions are tasks that take you directly, or almost directly, to achieving your goal. Here is a reminder about the Pointy Microactions and the Blunt ones

The best way to remember whether a task is a Microaction is to think whether it will directly lead to achieving your goal, or is one/two steps behind reaching your goal. Anything else is Motion, and motion doesn’t count. You will do lots of “Motion” in your business, and that’s important. But it’s not a Microaction.

Creating your big list of Microactions is important for two reasons:

  1. It switches your subconscious brain on to be creative and help you with ideas!
  2. It gives you plenty of Microactions to choose from each day so you can put your effort into actually doing the task, not just deciding what to do.

3. Make it easier to show up every day

I really want you to do at least one Microaction every day, because that’s when the magic happens. I’m here to help and encourage you, but there are lots of things you can do to make it easier for yourself.

Here are a three tools that I shared in my presentation which really help

A . Do the Heart Chart/ Box of 96

Start by deciding what your Pillars are. I usually suggest narrowing your “importants” down to three pillars, but you can have up to five. Just to jo your memory, mine are Family, Helping people lead a Fulfilling life (my work) and my Health.

Then, for a couple of days write all the tasks/things you do, on your heart chart in the appropriate boxes. This helps you understand why you’re finding it hard to make time for your 100 Day Goal.

You might want to try colour coding a Box of 96 too (make a grid of 96 boxes and colour code them according to what you are doing for that 15 mins- makes a great visual map of where your time goes!)

B. Keep a Journal

Over here I’ve put together a super-detailed explanation of HOW to use a Journal for the 100 Day Goal, and WHY it works so well. Read this!

C. Motivation Kit

If Motivation is your Achilles Heel, think about getting a Motivation Kit and creating your Motivation Routine. The Dopamine Reward System in your brain is a real thing, and when you trigger it you WILL feel motivated and energised!

You’re also very welcome to download my presentation here and take a look at the other ideas I mentioned on the last few slides. And you can download another copy of the handout from my presentation here.
